The God of my Understanding
I sit here feeling awakened to the power of HP
I relish the gifts that He gives to me
I experience the serenity, because He has helped me to see
That with Him in my life I've got the key
I receive M&M's from the one who loves me
I hold them ever so close to my heart
He offers them to me, and they can come in the form of a tree
My Mini Miracles I shall keep, never to part
Hp and I are inseparable, the truest of friends, He and I
To Him I can leave my problems and cares
When I have prayers with legs there isn't any reason to deny
Because He is already working in my life, and affairs
Like a child waiting in the shadows, abandonment you see
I no longer have to worry or fear
For He tells me He will never leave me, nor forsake me
So I feel my feelings, and with it comes a tear
Over the years He has seen to my every need
When I start to become leery and fret
He shows me again and again that He loves me enough to always heed
I know He will continue, I'm willing to bet
I have become willing to trust and believe
With all that He has shown me I would be ignorant at best
Because I know now that He is my God, something I couldn't conceive,
To look at all that has been done, I couldn't detest.

To the PREACHER He is the Word of God.
To the SCULPTOR He is the Living Stone.
To the SERVANT He is the Good Master.
To the STATESMAN He is the Desire of All Nations.
To the STUDENT He is the Incarnate Truth.
To the THEOLOGIAN He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
To the TOILER He is the Giver of Rest.
To the SINNER He is the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.
To the CHRISTIAN He is the Son of the Living God, the Savior, the Redeemer and the Lord.
